Job Summary: A Pavement Engineer ensures the quality and durability of the road network by performing design calculations, monitoring analysis, and technical support to optimize resources and guarantee performance. Technical support for implementation and restoration works The Pavement Engineer is responsible for the technical management of the road network. The professional ensures pavement quality and durability through project design, monitoring analysis, and technical support for implementation and restoration works. The focus is on optimizing resources and ensuring highway performance in accordance with technical and contractual standards. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform and validate flexible and rigid pavement designs (new projects and restorations). * Analyze functional and structural highway monitoring reports (IRI, FWD, wheel path, etc.). * Monitor and audit technological control of asphalt materials, soils, and aggregates. * Develop technical solutions for pavement distresses identified during inspections. * Manage pavement performance indicators and propose preventive or corrective interventions. * Prepare technical opinions and managerial reports to support decision-making. **Requirements and Qualifications** **ESSENTIAL FOR THIS POSITION:** * Completed Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; * Active registration with CREA (Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy); * Proficiency in pavement defect survey methodologies (DNIT PRO\-05, 06, 07\) (DNIT 061, 062\); * Solid knowledge of materials technology (Asphalt Concrete/CBUQ, binders, soils); * Experience interpreting laboratory and field test results; * Advanced Office suite (Excel for data analysis). **ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS (PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED):** * Postgraduate degree in Transportation Infrastructure, Geotechnics, or Pavement Engineering; * Knowledge of Pavement Management Systems (PMS) and HDM\-4; * Prior experience with highway concessionaires or specialized consulting firms. **Additional Information** Market-competitive salary; Meal allowance; Health insurance plan extendable to dependents; Dental insurance plan extendable to dependents; Life insurance; Childcare assistance; Profit-sharing program (PLR); Private pension plan; Birthday leave (Day\-Off); Gym allowance; Partnership agreements with High School (EJA), Higher Education, and Postgraduate Institutions; English language school partnership agreement; Sports incentive program; Pharmacy partnership agreement; Psychological support services; Employee referral program.
