Job Summary: A diesel maintenance professional will perform diagnostics, fault correction, component replacement, and safety inspections on buses. Key Highlights: 1. Use of electrical/electronic diagnostic tools **Description and Responsibilities:** **Schedule:** Rotating shift **Level:** Not specified **Employment type:** Permanent – CLT * Advanced Preventive Maintenance: Performs scheduled periodic inspections based on mileage (filter replacement, lubricating oil changes, brake adjustments, suspension inspection, wheel alignment, belt checks, and cooling system checks). * Intermediate Fault Diagnosis and Correction: Identifies and repairs recurring mechanical system failures, such as air/oil leaks, clutch system malfunctions, shock absorber issues, air suspension bellows, and brake drums/shoes. * Component Replacement and Repair: Performs assembly and disassembly of intermediate mechanical assemblies (differentials, axles, steering rods, water pumps, compressors, and turbochargers). * Safety Inspection and Testing: Verifies critical rolling-stock items and conducts practical tests on buses within the garage premises before releasing vehicles for long-distance or urban route operations. * Reading of Tools and Instruments: Uses basic electrical/electronic diagnostic equipment, scanners, and measuring tools (e.g., calipers and torque wrenches) to ensure correct fastening and fitting of parts. **Requirements:** * Technical course: Diesel Mechanic * Willingness to travel * Proven experience in bus maintenance **This position is also open to Persons with Disabilities (PwD).** Work location: Rodoviária Parque neighborhood, Cuiabá/MT **Benefits:** Food basket, Meal allowance
