**Description:**
Supporting Automation Engineering demands with emphasis on Industrial Automation Projects within the scope of Equipment Engineering for Fertilizer and Chemical Gas Units
**Responsibilities:**
* Supporting/executing projects in the area of emphasis—including new units and operational improvements (Retrofits) of automation and control systems.
* Developing, adapting, and/or reviewing technical specifications for industrial automation projects involving automation and control disciplines.
* Conducting failure and operational risk analyses, as well as investigating incidents and accidents involving automation and control systems.
* Providing technical support for automation and control to operational units.
* Field supervision of commissioning and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of automation and control systems within the Gas division.
* Developing and/or correcting control logic
* Creating and reviewing maintenance plans and procedures for automation and control equipment;
**Education:**
Bachelor's degree in Automation and Control Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering \- Registration with the Professional Regulatory Council (CREA);
**Years of Experience:**
Minimum proven experience of over 7 years working in automation, electronics, or electrical engineering with emphasis on automation systems;
Desirable experience in automation systems for refineries, petrochemical plants, gas processing stations, mining operations, steel mills, and power utilities.
Desirable experience with iFix SCADA systems and Rockwell PLCs
**Mandatory Knowledge:**
* Knowledge of failure analysis in supervision and control systems;
* Ability to develop and review technical specifications for modernization projects of industrial automation and control systems, proposing solutions and recommendations for recurring failures, equipment obsolescence, and compliance requirements.
* Solid knowledge of modernization projects, improvements, backups, uploads, and downloads of Industrial Process Supervision, Automation, and Control Systems.
* Knowledge of SCADA control systems, automation and control networks, and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming
**Salary:** R$ 15\.928,42
