Job Summary: Responsible for supporting internal occupational health and safety procedures, promoting preventive actions and occupational health initiatives across business units. Key Highlights: 1. Engagement in occupational health prevention and promotion. 2. Evaluation and approval of occupational medical certificates and examinations. 3. Contribution to educational campaigns on occupational safety and health (OSH) and accident prevention. Responsible for supporting internal procedures related to occupational health and safety, promoting effective preventive and occupational health promotion activities for all business units within the regional area of operation. **Interested and does this align with your career goals? Here are the main responsibilities:** * Evaluate and approve medical certificates, contributing through clinical assessment to determine the appropriate duration of leave, suggestions for reassignment to another department/function, and causal relationship assessment in accordance with current NTEP guidelines; * Ensure compliance with mandatory medical procedures by conducting occupational medical examinations (pre-employment, termination, periodic, job function change, return-to-work); * Support occupational safety and health (OSH) educational campaigns by monitoring the health action calendar, aligned with the Ministry of Health and Regional Health Secretariats (municipal and/or state level), focusing on workers’ working conditions; * Ensure all work-related accidents undergo medical evaluation to validate medical certificates and, where necessary, recommend temporary modifications to job activities based on clinical assessment of injured employees; * Provide support to internal employees regarding occupational health and safety matters upon request; * Contribute to workplace accident prevention by ensuring employee compliance with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). **What We Expect from Our Occupational Physician:** * Completed undergraduate degree in Medicine with active registration with the Regional Medical Council (CRM); * Knowledge of General Practice and Internal Medicine; * Familiarity with Normative Rules (NRs); * Understanding of labor and social security legislation. **Our purpose is to be a great place to spend your life—therefore, we offer:** * Health Insurance; * Dental Insurance; * Bonus based on performance indicators; * Life Insurance; * On-site Meals; * Transportation Allowance; * Social Support; * Special discounts for purchases at our retail networks.
