Quickly identify and address operational deviations **Position: Monitoring Tower Assistant** **Department: Logistics / Transportation** **Job Description:** The Monitoring Tower Assistant is responsible for real-time monitoring of transportation and distribution operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and adherence to scheduled deadlines. This role involves monitoring vehicles, routes, and deliveries, supporting the operations team, and taking prompt action in response to deviations or incidents. **Key Responsibilities:** \- Monitor vehicles and cargo in transit using tracking systems. \- Track route adherence and delivery schedules. \- Identify and address operational deviations (delays, unscheduled stops, safety risks). \- Maintain communication with drivers and transport providers to align information. \- Record incidents and update internal systems. \- Support the management of performance indicators (logistics KPIs). \- Activate contingency plans when required. \- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational procedures. **Requirements:** \- Completed high school education (technical or higher education in Logistics, Administration, or related fields preferred). \- Basic computer skills (Excel, tracking systems, logistics management systems). \- Strong communication and organizational skills. \- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions. \- Availability to work rotating shifts (if applicable). **Preferred Qualifications:** \- Prior experience in logistics monitoring or transportation. \- Familiarity with tracking systems. **Behavioral Competencies:** \- Attention to detail \- Proactivity \- Problem-solving agility \- Teamwork \- Accountability Employment Type: Full-time Compensation: R$1\.570,29 \- R$3\.500,00 per month Work Location: On-site
