Job Summary: We are seeking an Assistant to support loading, unloading, and organizing goods at the distribution center (DC), ensuring efficiency and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Assist drivers with pickups and deliveries by organizing cargo. 2. Load and unload goods onto trucks. 3. Contribute to the organization and cleaning of the DC and vehicles. We are looking for a responsible Assistant to handle loading and unloading of goods alongside trucks and assist in organizing the DC. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Assist drivers with pickups and deliveries, supporting loading, unloading, and cargo organization. * Label goods during pickups conducted directly at customer locations. * Perform loading and unloading of goods onto trucks, including cross-docking operations. * Handle internally shipped goods, deliver them to responsible parties, and process system inventory adjustments. * Receive mailbags from units, forward them to the finance department, and register them in the system. * Support organizing goods in the DC yard areas and maintain clean, orderly storage spaces and truck bodies. * Comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), safety regulations, use PPE correctly, safeguard company assets, and collaborate with colleagues. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Academic Background** * Completed elementary education. **Professional Experience** * Minimum 3 months of experience in this role. **Specific Knowledge** * Goods Handling and Storage – Basic * Technology Knowledge – Mobile Phone – Basic **Additional Information** On-site meals; Meal allowance; Food basket; Gas allowance; Health insurance (Unimed – 50% covered); PPR – Profit Sharing Program; Career and salary progression plan; Partnership with SEST SENAT (dentist, nutritionist, psychologist, club, and gym); "Little Love Package". **Since 1989, we have delivered trust, quality, and speed across Brazil.** **At Carvalima**, we are driven by our passion to connect people, companies, and results.
