General guest support and consumption control Welcome hotel guests, address inquiries regarding available products and services, deliver high-quality and excellent service to ensure guest satisfaction. * Perform shift opening and cash drawer verification; perform cash drawer closing at the end of the shift; * Serve guests in person and via telephone; * Execute the Receptionist's checklist; * Fill out the Reception Log Book via e\-mail; * Generate and save emergency reports and interdepartmental support reports; stay informed about weekly events by reviewing the event folder and verifying alignment with work orders; * Perform check-in: locate reservations, register guests, assign rooms, issue registration forms, and magnetize key cards; perform check-out: verify charges for final account settlement; * Provide general guest assistance (e.g., luggage handling, wake-up calls, room service) and record product and service consumption charges on the guest's account; * Process room changes in the system when necessary; * Request necessary maintenance tasks for the maintenance team; restrict or release guest rooms for maintenance/cleaning as required; * Verify point-of-sale entries at reception; restock and conduct monthly inventory of minibar items; * Maintain and safeguard departmental tools and equipment; * Contribute to workplace cleanliness and organization; * Support optimization of departmental supplies and resources; * Attend meetings and training sessions as scheduled; * Perform other duties related to this position, as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
