Process standardization and performance indicator management **About the Role** We are looking for a **Production Coordinator** to lead teams and production processes, with strong hands-on involvement on the factory floor and emphasis on operational efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement. This position will play a key role in process standardization, performance indicator management, and supporting the implementation of new technologies across facilities. **Responsibilities** * Ensure achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the production area, monitoring results and proposing corrective actions. * Coordinate production activities, ensuring quality, safety, productivity, and process efficiency. * Monitor daily factory-floor operations, guiding the team and ensuring compliance with regulations, procedures, and operational standards. * Identify failures and opportunities for improvement in production processes, implementing actions to increase productivity and reduce waste. * Conduct daily team meetings to align goals, results, deadlines, correct deviations, and reinforce safety practices. * Monitor and control plant-level indicators, performing critical analysis and reporting results to management. * Support supervisors in operational management, ensuring proper execution of production activities. * Actively contribute to cost reduction through expense control, resource optimization, and continuous improvement of work methods. * Support management in workforce planning, identifying labor and departmental resource requirements. * Lead and monitor the production unit’s action plans, ensuring execution and evaluation of results. * Identify training and development needs for the team, requesting and tracking necessary actions. * Ensure a safe working environment by promoting safety culture, enforcing proper use of PPE, and supporting accident prevention initiatives. * Apply disciplinary measures when necessary (warnings, suspensions, terminations), per company policies and regulations. * Be accountable for achieving operational targets and controlling production-area costs. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, or Chemical Engineering * Prior experience coordinating operational or technical teams * Knowledge of performance indicator management and analysis * Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts * Intermediate English proficiency or currently studying English **Preferred Qualifications** * Postgraduate degree in Production Management, Maintenance, or related fields Minimum Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Languages: * English (Intermediate) Driver’s License: Class B Willingness to travel * Health Insurance (Unimed Nacional or Local Plan, depending on facility) * Dental Insurance (OdontoPrev) * Meal Allowance or Basic Food Basket * On-site cafeteria * Bonus based on goal achievement, per facility policy
