Mentoring and code review for mid-level and senior developers We seek a Software Expert to serve as the primary technical reference and the most experienced developer in our fraud prevention and cybersecurity systems. This role is for individuals passionate about solving the most complex engineering challenges, optimizing systems for high performance, and writing code that serves as an example for the entire team. The Expert will be responsible for designing and implementing the most critical components of our platforms, ensuring technical excellence and continuous evolution of our codebase. **Responsibilities:** Design and implement Machine Learning- and LLM-based solutions to enhance fraud and threat detection, including event classification, anomaly detection, data enrichment, and decision automation. Integrate predictive models and LLMs into processing pipelines, ensuring low latency, scalability, and compliance with operational requirements of the anti-fraud environment. Monitor model performance, drift, and effectiveness, adjusting features, rules, and strategies as fraud patterns evolve. **Development of Critical Components:** Lead end-to-end design and implementation of the most complex and high-impact functionalities and services in anti-fraud systems. **Optimization and Performance:** Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, optimizing data processing in Python and execution of complex queries in PostgreSQL and Oracle. **Technical Reference in Code:** Serve as the primary authority on source code, ensuring adherence to best practices, architectural quality, and solution maintainability. **API Development:** Design, develop, and maintain robust, secure, low-latency REST APIs using FastAPI and Flask. **Technical Collaboration:** Collaborate closely with frontend, product, and data teams to design and build cohesive and effective solutions. **Mentoring and Code Review:** Mentor other developers (mid-level and senior) through detailed code reviews, pair programming sessions, and dissemination of technical knowledge. **Technical Documentation:** Create and maintain clear, detailed documentation for complex components, APIs, and adopted development standards. **Essential Technical Requirements:** **Experience:** Minimum of 8 years of software development experience, focused on building robust and scalable backend systems. **Python (Expert Level):** Proven expertise in Python, including asynchronous programming (async/await), deep knowledge of frameworks (FastAPI, Flask), and ability to write idiomatic, high-performance, high-quality code. **Databases:** Deep practical knowledge of data modeling and SQL query optimization. Solid experience with PostgreSQL and/or Oracle, including analytical functions and execution plans. **Software Architecture:** Solid experience in designing and building microservices, REST APIs, and applying design patterns to solve complex problems. **Frontend Development:** Strong experience with TypeScript and React, capable of developing and maintaining UI components and collaborating effectively with the frontend team. **DevOps:** Practical experience with Docker and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and the software development lifecycle. **Desirable Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):** **Performance and Caching:** Experience with Redis for latency optimization and caching. **Media Processing:** Knowledge of image processing libraries (Pillow, OpenCV) or document processing libraries (PyMuPDF). **Observability:** Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Elastic APM, Prometheus, Grafana). **Requirements:** We seek a Software Expert to serve as the primary technical reference and the most experienced developer in our fraud prevention and cybersecurity systems.
