Job Summary: An inventory professional responsible for receiving goods, warehousing, shelf-life control (FIFO), order picking, inventory counts, and organization within a cosmetics environment. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in inventory management, preferably in cosmetics or pharmaceuticals. 2. Proficiency in FIFO/FEFO method and batch control. 3. Organized work environment and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities and Duties **Receiving and Inspection:** Receive merchandise, cross-check invoices with delivered items, verify quantities, and inspect packaging integrity. **Strategic Storage:** Organize products on shelves and in designated areas to optimize physical space usage. **Shelf-Life Management (FIFO/FEFO):** Strictly apply the FIFO (First In, First Out) methodology to ensure that batches with the earliest manufacturing dates are dispatched first, preventing product losses. **Batch Control:** Record and trace cosmetic batches to ensure prompt response to any audit or recall requirements. **Order Picking:** Accurately pick items for sales orders, ensuring correct products and batches are shipped to customers. **Inventory Counts:** Participate in cyclic and full inventory counts to ensure accuracy between physical stock and system records. **Care and Organization:** Maintain a clean and organized workplace, adhering to safety and hygiene standards (especially critical in the cosmetics sector). ### Requirements and Qualifications **Education:** Completed high school. **Experience:** Prior experience in inventory roles, preferably in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or retail sectors. **Technical Knowledge:** Proficiency in FIFO/FEFO method. Experience in batch and expiry date control. Proficiency with inventory management systems (ERP) and data collection devices. **Behavioral Profile:** Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, physical agility, and proactivity. ### Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of import/export procedures (basic documentation). Certification as a forklift or electric pallet jack operator.
