**Job Description** Import Manager – International Trade Department: International Trade **Job Objective** Manage and coordinate all of the company’s import operations, ensuring logistical efficiency, compliance with customs legislation, and cost competitiveness, while guaranteeing the supply of imported products for resale. **Key Responsibilities** **Operations Management** * Plan, coordinate, and supervise import processes from supplier negotiations through to final goods delivery; * Manage import documentation flow (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, DI/DUIMP, Import Licenses); * Monitor customs clearance procedures in coordination with customs brokers and regulatory agencies; * International negotiation; * Develop and maintain relationships with international suppliers; * Negotiate prices, delivery timelines, commercial terms, and Incoterms; * Evaluate and select freight forwarders and logistics service providers. **Cost Management** * Control logistical costs, international freight charges, port fees, and import duties; * Conduct total landed cost analysis; * Identify opportunities for cost reduction and logistical optimization; * Planning and Supply * Align import planning with Sales, Procurement, and Inventory departments; * Ensure product availability for resale according to market demand. **Compliance and Legislation** * Ensure compliance with Brazilian customs and regulatory legislation; * Monitor updates to foreign trade regulations and procedures. **People Management** * Lead and develop the international trade team; * Assign tasks, monitor performance, and promote continuous process improvement; * Metrics and Results; * Monitor departmental KPIs (import lead time, logistical costs, service level); * Prepare managerial reports to support decision-making. **Job Requirements** **Experience:** 3 years as an Import Manager. **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields. **Languages:** Intermediate or advanced English. **Technical Knowledge** * Brazilian customs legislation and customs regimes; * Import operations and international logistics; * Import cost calculation and Incoterms; * Foreign trade systems (Siscomex / DUIMP) and Narwal (preferred). **Behavioral Competencies** * Leadership; * Negotiation; * Strategic vision; * Organization and control; * Analytical ability; * Decision-making. **Compensation and Benefits** PJ Compensation: R$ 18\.500,00 Lunch at internal restaurant Vacation On-site parking Total pass.
