TestFly partners with major international gaming brands to deliver high\-quality QA solutions across tools, engines, and large\-scale game systems. Our São Paulo team works directly with global engineering stakeholders in English\-speaking environments.
**Role Overview**
This is a full\-time, on\-site SDET – Test Automation role based in São Paulo. You will collaborate closely with development and QA teams to design scalable automation frameworks, improve test infrastructure, and influence product quality through data\-driven insights. This role is engineering\-heavy and requires hands\-on development experience. Success is defined by technical depth, framework quality, and measurable improvements to test coverage and execution efficiency.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Collaborate with development teams to define test strategies and apply risk\-based testing
* Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks and supporting tools
* Build automated tests, API hooks, and tooling to improve reliability and coverage
* Analyze workflows and pipelines to identify efficiency improvements
* Implement metrics and reporting to communicate quality status and risk trends
* Contribute to sprint planning, technical discussions, and engineering reviews
* Maintain clear documentation and communicate progress and risks effectively
**Required Qualifications**
* 2–4 years of experience as an SDET, Software Tools Engineer, or similar role
* 6\+ years of professional software development experience
* Strong proficiency in C\# (JavaScript experience is a plus)
* Solid experience with automation frameworks and API testing
* Ability to analyze test data and guide quality decisions
* Confidence collaborating with senior engineers and technical stakeholders
* Strong ownership mindset and commitment to sustainable engineering practices
**Nice to Have**
* Experience building internal tools or custom automation frameworks
* Familiarity with Playwright or modern UI automation tools
* Experience with AWS or GCP
* Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and build system integration
* Performance testing experience
* Passion for video games and interactive systems
