Strategic involvement with business and architectural vision #### **About the Tech Lead – .NET Framework / T\-SQL Role** **Tech Lead – .NET Framework / T\-SQL** **Position Objective** Act as a **technical leader** responsible for guiding, evolving, and ensuring technical excellence of a development team, with focus on **legacy systems built on .NET Framework and SQL Server (T\-SQL)**. This role plays a strategic part in initiatives related to **modernization, optimization, maintenance, and architectural evolution**, serving as a bridge between technical and business areas to ensure high-value, high-quality, and high-performance deliveries. **Key Responsibilities** * Technically lead the .NET development team and T\-SQL specialists, promoting best practices and high quality standards. * Define, maintain, and evolve the architecture of legacy systems, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability. * Lead technological modernization initiatives, including code refactoring, restructuring, performance improvements, and partial or full migrations. * Support strategic technology-related decisions concerning architecture, security, and system evolution. * Technically manage requests, prioritization, and delivery tracking. * Conduct **code reviews**, ensuring compliance with quality standards, governance, and best practices. * Identify and implement performance improvements for applications and databases. * Collaborate with business areas to understand requirements and design efficient technical solutions. * Support the team’s technical development through mentoring, training, and knowledge sharing. * Ensure appropriate technical documentation, as well as best practices for versioning, deployment, and maintenance. **Technical Requirements** * Solid experience in **.NET Framework** development. * Strong expertise in **SQL Server and T\-SQL** (procedures, functions, triggers, query tuning and optimization). * Proven experience with **legacy systems** and modernization projects. * Knowledge of **software architecture** (layered architecture, APIs, integrations). * Experience with **version control tools** (e.g., Git). * Proficiency in development best practices such as **SOLID** and **Clean Code**. * Experience in analyzing and improving application and database performance. **Behavioral Profile** * Strong technical leadership and team development capability. * Strategic vision focused on results and value delivery. * Excellent communication skills for interaction with both technical and business stakeholders. * Analytical mindset, oriented toward solving complex problems. * Ability to make strategic-level decisions. * Proactivity, autonomy, and strong sense of ownership (product owner mindset). **Nice-to-Haves** * Experience migrating to **.NET Core / modern .NET**. * Knowledge of **cloud environments** (Azure or AWS). * Experience with **agile methodologies** (Scrum, Kanban). * Experience working in large-scale corporate environments and with **mission-critical systems**.
