### **About the project** You will work on a **digital insurance comparison and contracting product**, with high data volume and integrations with multiple external partners. The platform connects transactional information, business rules, and analytical data to enable **automated quotations, rapid decision-making, and a 100% digital journey for the end customer**. It is a **dynamic, mission-critical, and data-driven environment**, where the data engineer operates cross-functionally, with **autonomy**, strong **ownership of deliverables**, and **direct interaction with client-facing teams and technical stakeholders**. The project demands **resilience, organization, and the ability to operate end-to-end**, from raw data to consumption. ### **Responsibilities and duties** * Develop and maintain **data pipelines (ETL/ELT)** with focus on performance, reliability, and scalability. * Work on **data extraction, transformation, and loading** in distributed environments. * Carry out integrations among **transactional systems, data lakes, and data consumers**. * Collaborate with **DataOps, MLOps, Cloud, Architecture, and Product teams**. * Support initiatives fostering a **data-driven culture**, ensuring efficient and structured access to data. * Ensure **data quality, availability, and consistency** for analytical and operational use. * Operate in a **Cloud environment (AWS)**, taking responsibility for solution stability and evolution. * Interact directly with client-facing areas, understanding their needs and supporting technical prioritization. ### **Requirements and qualifications** * Solid knowledge of **SQL, Python, and Spark**. * Experience with **relational and NoSQL databases**, integration tools, and big data technologies such as **MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redshift**. * Hands-on experience with distributed platforms like **Hadoop, Spark, or Databricks**. * Proficiency in **AWS**, using services such as the **Apache ecosystem, Redshift, and DMS**. * Practical understanding of **DevOps applied to data**. * Familiarity with **containers** (Kubernetes, OpenShift, or AKS). * Strong analytical capability and ability to independently solve **complex problems**. * Good communication and collaboration skills with both technical and business teams. * High level of **responsibility, resilience, and professional maturity**. **MJV Benefits:** TotalPass\\Wellhub; ‍‍‍‍ Group life insurance; Meal/Voucher allowance; Health and dental plan \- Bradesco; Training initiatives: talks, forums, knowledge-sharing sessions, and discussions related to our business.
