If you enjoy working with data, deeply understand credit risk, and wish to generate real business impact, this opportunity is for you. **Responsibilities:** * Conduct comprehensive financial analyses of companies, focusing on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), evaluating financial statements, financial indicators, cash flow generation, and capital structure. * Develop, parameterize, and evolve Akad’s credit engine for SME borrowers, defining criteria, variables, and quantitative models for credit limit approvals. * Identify risk signals and potential deteriorations (micro- and macroeconomic), proposing appropriate credit limits and mitigation strategies. * Prepare structured technical opinions and defend recommendations before the credit committee and, when necessary, reinsurers. * Support sectoral analyses and portfolio monitoring, tracking performance indicators, vintages, delinquency, and risk concentration. * Monitor credit engine performance, conducting backtesting and proposing continuous improvements to models and policies. * Collaborate with internal departments such as Underwriting, Pricing, Data, and Legal, ensuring alignment between risk management and business strategy. * Integrate financial, sectoral, and qualitative analyses to build a comprehensive and strategic view of credit risk. **What You Need:** * Experience in corporate credit analysis, especially for SMEs (revenue up to BRL 300 million), at institutions such as banks, insurers, reinsurers, or credit bureaus. * Solid knowledge of financial statements, accounting, balance sheet analysis, cash flow analysis, and credit indicators. * Experience building, parameterizing, and maintaining credit models and engines. * Completed undergraduate degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields. **You’ll Stand Out If You Have...** * Experience with statistical modeling or machine learning applied to credit. * Proficiency in languages such as SQL, Python, or R. * Experience in credit insurance or reinsurance. * Experience in sectoral analysis and/or macroeconomic risk. **Here, the challenge is real.
