Job Summary: Plan, deliver, and evaluate technical and behavioral training for gold mining employees, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Key Highlights: 1. Ability to conduct practical and theoretical training **PURPOSE:** Plan, deliver, and evaluate technical, practical, and behavioral training for gold mining employees, ensuring development of competencies required for safe, efficient, and compliant operations—aligned with internal standards, applicable legislation, and company quality requirements. **RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES** * Develop training plans aligned with operational needs and legal requirements (NRs, Internal Standards, Operational Procedures). * Deliver theoretical and practical training on equipment, development processes, operational safety, environmental management, and occupational health. * Conduct mandatory refresher courses and certifications, maintaining up-to-date records of employee participation and performance. * Monitor and evaluate trainees’ practical performance in the field, reinforcing operational and safety standards. * Support onboarding of new employees by communicating organizational culture, safety rules, and operational procedures. * Develop and update instructional materials, simulators, and visual aids to support training activities. * Ensure compliance with legal requirements, internal and external audits, and certification standards (ISO, OHSAS, etc.). * Monitor training KPIs and propose continuous improvements. Conduct operational failure analysis jointly with maintenance and mine operations teams. **REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:** * Technical education in Mining, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related fields. * Practical experience in gold mining, preferably in underground operations. * Advanced knowledge of regulatory standards and occupational safety practices. * Ability to deliver practical and theoretical training to diverse audiences. * Strong communication skills, teaching ability, and capacity to motivate teams. * Availability to work on-site and across different shifts, as required. * Proven experience operating drilling equipment (Epiroc Simba M4CEpiroc Simba S7; Sandvik DL\-331; Sandvik DL\-421; Sandvik DL\-431; Sandvik DL\-321\). * Technical knowledge of main components of Epiroc Simba M4CEpiroc Simba S7; Sandvik DL\-331; Sandvik DL\-421; Sandvik DL\-431; Sandvik DL\-321\ equipment. **Behavioral Competencies:** * Focus on safety and accident prevention. * Leadership and ability to positively influence others. * Organization and planning. * Proactivity and adaptability. * Teamwork and interpersonal skills.
