**PURPOSE**
Ensure speed and accuracy in releasing analytical results to meet the requirements of geology, exploration, and metallurgical plant teams. Guarantee short-term operational continuity and contribute to sound long-term decision-making.
**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
* Perform tasks according to instructions and service priorities set by the immediate supervisor, properly using uniforms and required personal protective equipment (PPE), while complying with regulations, procedures, occupational health & safety, environmental, quality, and social responsibility standards;
* Interact with other professionals and exchange information regarding tasks to be performed, as instructed and scheduled;
* Ensure proper maintenance, operation, and cleanliness of equipment and accessories under one's responsibility, and support other areas in equipment maintenance and operation;
* Complete the Preliminary Risk Analysis (PRA) and equip oneself appropriately to perform tasks safely;
* Complete the daily work report, summarizing all activities performed, general conditions of one's equipment and workplace, and reporting any abnormalities for appropriate action;
* Receive and verify samples from the Metallurgical Plant, Exploration, and Geology departments, cross-checking sample numbers against related requests;
* Prepare ore, pulp, and liquid samples according to established methodologies, including drying, grinding, pulverizing, and quartering operations, among others;
* Clean laboratory equipment and instruments with running water and store them properly in cabinets and shelves;
* Dispose of samples into designated bins for reuse in the circuit;
* Archive samples in boxes after packaging, following the operational procedure;
* Maintain quality of preparation activities and tests performed through comparison with reference samples or standard routines;
