Optimization of mining cycles and use of innovative technologies **PURPOSE** Ensure that underground mining activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with technical planning, guaranteeing mine structural stability, team productivity, and proper utilization of resources and equipment. **REQUIREMENTS** * Mining Technician * Experience working in underground mines * Fleet management system experience preferred – SODEP **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Supervise operational safety, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (NR-22) and implementing preventive measures to minimize geotechnical and operational risks. * Manage teams through feedback routines and monitoring of attendance, productivity, and performance. * Continuously monitor operational and geotechnical parameters, adopting corrective actions to ensure stability of stopes, pillars, and mining faces. * Supervise underground mining operations using the Room-and-Pillar and Sublevel Stoping methods, as well as rehabilitation of residual areas, ensuring efficient execution of production and extraction plans. * Supervise allocation of resources, teams, and equipment, promoting operational efficiency and achievement of productivity targets. * Monitor and optimize drilling, blasting, loading, and hauling cycles to increase productivity and reduce costs. * Supervise drilling operations, applying vertical drilling metrics to ensure alignment with geotechnical planning and optimal ore recovery. * Collaborate with Engineering and Safety departments to improve extraction processes and minimize operational risks. * Implement best practices and technological innovations to enhance mining efficiency and ensure greater operational safety.
