**Mechanic Assistant – Job Description** **Main Responsibilities:** * Assist the mechanic in preventive and corrective maintenance activities for vehicles, machines, or equipment; * Help disassemble, clean, and reassemble mechanical parts and components; * Perform lubrication, oil changes, filter replacements, and basic operational checks; * Organize and keep the work area and tools clean; * Assist in inspecting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; * Transport necessary parts, tools, and materials for service tasks; * Fill out simple maintenance reports and assist in tracking used parts; * Follow safety regulations and properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). **Desired Qualifications:** * Basic knowledge of automotive and diesel mechanics. * Ability to follow technical instructions; * Organized and committed to deadlines and quality.
