**Location:** 100% Remote – Brazil **Contract duration:** 3 months, extendable **English:** Fluent – work with a global team **About the Position** Avantti Tecnologia is seeking an experienced DBA to work on a high-criticality international project, ensuring database availability, performance, integrity, and security. The professional will primarily work with PostgreSQL on Linux, as well as other RDBMS/NoSQL databases, collaborating with teams across multiple countries. Requirements: **Responsibilities** Install, administer, operate, monitor, and upgrade database servers, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. Define and implement internal standards to ensure service quality. Optimize queries and support stakeholders in writing complex queries, stored procedures, views, and DDL/DML scripts. Troubleshoot complex incidents, ensuring compliance with SLAs/OLAs. Maintain and enhance backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes. Work daily in a global environment, communicating in English. **Required Experience** 5+ years as a DBA with MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or Oracle. Strong Linux experience. In-depth knowledge of database engine, storage, and memory/process architecture. Fluent English for communication with global teams. **Preferred Qualifications** Experience with mission-critical databases exceeding 2 TB. Experience with MPP technologies (e.g., Netezza, Teradata). Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of programming languages. Collaborative, communicative, flexible, and self-motivated profile.
