The candidate will be responsible for creating pipelines supporting projects in multiple languages (C++ , Java, Python), integrating quality and security controls using open-source tools. **Engagement Model:** Fixed-scope temporary project **Post-Delivery Management:** Internal team Main Responsibilities CI/CD Pipeline Construction * Design and implement flexible pipelines supporting **C++ , Java (Spring Boot), and Python** * Configure **Jenkins** with declarative pipelines integrated with **Bitbucket** * Implement appropriate deployment strategies per project (rolling, blue-green) * Integrate AI-powered tools for code review and automated analysis * Generate build, deployment, and quality metrics on-demand or in real time Quality and Security * Integrate **SonarQube** for static analysis across all languages * Configure mandatory quality gates in the pipeline * Implement vulnerability scanning (SAST/DAST) * Automate dependency and license audits On-Premises Infrastructure * Provision and configure on-premises Linux servers (DEV, HML, PROD) * Configure **NGINX** as a reverse proxy with SSL/TLS and load balancing * Manage services via **Systemd** * Implement automation using Bash, Python, and Ansible Monitoring and Observability * Configure **Prometheus + Grafana** for unified metrics * Implement **ELK Stack** or an alternative open-source solution for centralized logging * Create dashboards for performance, availability, and development metrics * Configure proactive alerts Artifact and Dependency Management * Configure **Nexus** or **Artifactory** as repository manager * Manage artifacts from C++ builds, Java JARs, and Python packages * Integrate S3-compatible storage for large artifacts * Implement versioning and traceability Documentation and Knowledge Transfer * Document the entire architecture and operational procedures * Create runbooks for operations and troubleshooting * Train the internal team to manage the pipeline Required Qualifications Experience * Proven experience with **Jenkins** (declarative pipelines, multibranch) * Advanced administration of **Linux** (Debian/Ubuntu/CentOS) * Experience with **on-premises** environments (not cloud-only) Technical Skills * Jenkins (Jenkinsfile, shared libraries, plugins) * Git/Bitbucket (branching strategies, webhooks, code review) * Build systems: **Maven/Gradle** (Java), **CMake/Make** (C++ ), **pip/poetry** (Python) * NGINX (advanced configuration, SSL, reverse proxy) * Advanced scripting (Bash, Python) * Ansible for infrastructure automation Knowledge Areas * Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS) * Security (firewalls, hardening, vulnerability analysis) * System monitoring and troubleshooting * Integration of code quality tools Desirable Qualifications * Experience compiling large-scale **C++ projects** * Familiarity with **Terraform** for Infrastructure as Code * Experience with **ELK Stack** (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) * Familiarity with **PostgreSQL** (basic administration) * Knowledge of **Apache ActiveMQ Artemis** * Prior experience with **critical or mission-critical systems** * Familiarity with AI tools for development (Copilot, CodeReview AI) Expected Deliverables * A fully functional **unified CI/CD pipeline** for all projects * Provisioned environments (DEV, HML, PROD) with automation * Configured **monitoring stack** with dashboards * Integrated quality/security controls in pipelines * Comprehensive **documentation** and internal team training * Automated version and quality **metrics** About the Company Sinapsis Energia is an established company operating for 18 years in the electric power sector, developing software for electrical network analysis used by major Brazilian utility companies.
