




Description: Required: * Completed undergraduate degree, preferably in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields. * Proven experience in web development with PHP and JavaScript using the WordPress platform, WooCommerce, and integrations with external systems. * Solid hands-on experience creating and customizing WordPress plugins, including integrations with CRM plugins (e.g., HubSpot), LMS platforms (e.g., LearnDash, Moodle), or automation and e-commerce solutions. * Proficiency in software development processes, including version control (Git), documentation, testing, continuous delivery, and quality management. * Process-oriented individual who values organization and continuous improvement. * Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as Cursor AI, GitHub Copilot, or IDEs with AI capabilities. * Experience with cloud environments, especially focused on maintenance, optimization, and security of managed platforms. * Strong communication skills and technical leadership ability, serving as a bridge between developers and institutional departments. Desirable: * Postgraduate degree in Software Engineering, preferably at Master’s level; * Interest in working in education, including teaching activities at undergraduate and postgraduate levels; * Advanced experience in developing and customizing WordPress solutions, including integrations with WooCommerce, LearnDash, WP Fusion, and HubSpot; * Experience developing mobile applications with React Native; * Knowledge of front-end web design, HTML/CSS; * Ability to communicate with international vendors, conducting technical discussions in English for problem resolution, support, and bug fixing; * Empathy toward end users, reflected in a collaborative support approach, demand prioritization, and decision-making; * Strong teamwork skills, interacting effectively with technical professionals, managers, and business units; * Prior experience in technical leadership, mentoring and guiding other developers; * Prior teaching experience; * Familiarity with architectures composed of multiple services and integrated platforms, including API usage and automation. Collaborate effectively with the development team to: * Define, implement, and improve software development, update, and testing processes, ensuring quality and traceability of deliverables; * Guide developers and analysts, promoting sound engineering practices, version control, and documentation; * Plan, implement, and manage e-commerce and online learning environments for undergraduate, postgraduate, and open courses; * Maintain and optimize infrastructure hosted on managed cloud services, ensuring performance, security, and scalability; * Develop, integrate, and customize solutions on WordPress and Moodle platforms—with emphasis on plugins such as WooCommerce, LearnDash, WP Fusion, and HubSpot—aligning solutions with course marketing and delivery requirements; * Monitor, identify, and resolve technical issues, particularly those related to platform and associated system integrations; * Update and maintain mobile applications linked to institutional platforms, ensuring optimal user experience for students and applicants. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, product, teaching) to ensure technological solutions align with the institution’s commercial and educational objectives.
