




**Description:** Currently enrolled in a Geology program from the 5th semester onward, or taking courses such as \- MANDATORY INTERNSHIP OR THESIS; **Preferred qualifications:** Proficiency in QGIS, geoprocessing, geological mapping, mineralogy, structural geology, and Microsoft Office Suite Basic English proficiency is desirable; The student must be in the final phase of their studies or enrolled in courses that allow them to work in another state without compromising their academic progress. **Under supervision, the intern will:** Develop skills in field geology activities, including geological surveys, terrain mapping, sample collection, identification of rocks and minerals, as well as recording and organizing geological data. Support the preparation of geological maps using QGIS software, integrating geological, geographic, and topographic information to produce technically sound materials. Collaborate with the team on geological projects, contributing to the analysis and interpretation of field and laboratory data, thereby supporting decision-making. Demonstrate proactivity in identifying and resolving problems, suggesting improvements and assisting in implementing practical solutions. Enhance knowledge of mafic and ultramafic complexes through studies, research, and participation in related activities and projects. Follow guidance from supervisors and mentors, pursuing continuous learning and developing technical and practical skills in the field. Assist in preparing technical reports, including presentation of data, geological analyses, and recommendations relevant to ongoing projects.
