Join Nexa and be part of mining that moves with the world! **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on industrial tailings filtration equipment; * Conduct mechanical inspections on filtration systems, identifying failures, wear, and repair requirements; * Assemble, disassemble, and adjust mechanical components in industrial filters; * Perform alignment, adjustment, and calibration of filtration equipment; * Analyze equipment failures and propose technical solutions to improve equipment reliability; * Monitor operational performance of filtration systems, identifying optimization opportunities; * Interpret technical drawings, mechanical diagrams, and hydraulic diagrams; * Support engineering and maintenance teams in filtration system improvement and modernization projects; * Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety, environmental, and quality standards; * Monitor operational tests following mechanical interventions; * Collaborate with operations, automation, and electrical teams to resolve filtration process issues; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Technical Education in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related fields; * Experience in maintenance of industrial tailings filtration equipment; * Knowledge of filter press maintenance; **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of failure analysis (RCA); * Experience with maintenance management systems (SAP PM, Maximo, or similar); * Industrial safety training; * Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems; * Experience with industrial lubrication; **Skills:** * Reading and interpretation of technical drawings; * Predictive and preventive maintenance techniques; **Additional Information** ***Nexa believes in fostering a plural environment where everyone feels comfortable and empowered to be themselves.*** We are one of the world’s largest zinc producers!
