This role serves as the point of contact between the company, carriers, and internal departments, ensuring freight costs are accurate, invoices comply with established contracts, and all discrepancies are resolved efficiently. **Requirements** -------------- * Bachelor's degree completed. * Prior experience in **freight auditing, transport control**, or similar areas. * Knowledge of **transportation contracts, freight rate tables**, and logistics processes. * Proficiency with **ERP systems** and **Transportation Management Systems (TMS)**. * Advanced Excel skills and ability to handle large volumes of data. * Strong communication skills for interacting with carriers and internal departments. * Proactivity and problem-solving ability related to transportation processes. * Experience implementing systems (e.g., TMS). **Responsibilities** --------------------- Conduct detailed audits of received freight invoices, verifying compliance with transportation contracts and agreed-upon pricing tables. Analyze discrepancies between billed amounts and contracted amounts, identifying errors and collaborating with carriers to correct inconsistencies. Ensure all charges align with agreed terms (weight, volume, distance, delivery deadlines, etc.). * Verify and validate invoices, road cargo waybills (CTRCs), and other documents related to freight transportation. * Maintain up-to-date records of freight payments and perform periodic reconciliations to ensure financial data integrity. * Prepare monthly reports and performance indicators (KPIs) related to freight and transportation auditing. * Collaborate with Logistics, Finance, Procurement, and IT departments to ensure process and system integrity in freight auditing. * Suggest improvements to transportation processes and negotiations with carriers. * Identify transportation cost reduction opportunities through trend and carrier performance analysis.
