About the Role: A Software Development Engineer (SDE) at Amazon tackles business challenges through technology, owns their systems end-to-end, and influences the direction of our technology impacting hundreds of millions of customers worldwide. About the team The IES LATECH team builds new features for Amazon.com (http://amazon.com/) across different countries and develops systems supporting Amazon’s operations. You’ll learn how to design, implement, and test highly scalable solutions using AWS cloud platform and its diverse services, in agile and challenging projects, working alongside top professionals in the field. **BASIC QUALIFICATIONS** ------------------------ * 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience * 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) experience for new and existing systems * Experience programming in at least one software programming language **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** ---------------------------- * 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations * Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
