Focus on innovation and digital transformation with IoT and Big Data Vice-Presidency: B2B Work Location: Alphaville This is a position focused on supporting the implementation of products and services aimed at digitizing our customers through IoT and Big Data, in telecommunications architecture and technology projects, execution and monitoring of feature and new service implementations. Our value proposition is to enable our customers—through these implementations and technologies—to achieve their next level of digitization, capturing opportunities for operational efficiency and business profitability. **Responsibilities and Assignments** * Manage and implement strategic projects, solutions, and products that accelerate business expansion and enable adoption of new models capable of making our customers’ operations more efficient, profitable, and competitive; * Independently execute various project deliverables—including project management (PMO): schedule, project charter, risk matrix, communication plan; * Solve complex problems and structure strategic projects, solutions, and products, as well as conduct in-depth analyses; * Manage multiple projects of varying sizes and complexity; * Serve as the interface with clients and other stakeholders; * Build and maintain a lean and effective operational cadence for communication, reporting, accountability, and decision-making—ensuring clients and teams remain informed; * Manage and monitor key KPIs and business reports; * Lead and support the project team to remove obstacles and fulfill agreed deliverables; * Availability for travel within our operational area. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Minimum 5 years’ experience in development and implementation of mobile network projects in telecommunications, Internet of Things (IoT), and Big Data; * Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel); * Customer orientation: Understand customer requirements and needs, transforming them into organizational opportunities; * Analytical skills: Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative information, and present it clearly and coherently; * Communication skills: Active listening and ease in expressing and conveying ideas to clients, colleagues, and others within the organization; * Experience defining design, new architectures, technologies, equipment, and software versions required for ensuring network technological growth and evolution; * Practical experience and technical leadership in structuring and technology transformation projects, such as Long Term Evolution/4G, 5G NSA and SA, Internet of Things/IoT, etc.; * Knowledge of major applications and services deployable, configurable, and activatable on LPWA (Low Power Wide Area) networks, including primary access technologies (NB-IoT, LTE-M/CAT-M) and integration architecture between LPWA networks and other systems; * Knowledge of main deployment strategies for private 4G networks, migration plans to private 5G networks, and core elements and functionalities of Access Networks: 2G (GSM, GPRS, EDGE), 3G (WCDMA/UMTS, HSPA, HSPA+), 4G (LTE, LTE-Advanced), IoT (NB-IoT, LTE-M), and 5G (NSA and SA); * Desirable knowledge of solutions and functions: E2ENS (End-to-End Network Slicing), NFVI (Network Functions Virtualization Infrastructure), MEC (Mobile Edge Computing), CNF (Cloud Native Network Function), mMTC (Massive Machine-Type Communication), URLLC (Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communication), and VoNR (Voice over New Radio); * Education: Preferably in Engineering, Information Technology, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields; * Postgraduate studies: Desirable specialization in Project Management, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Master’s degree, or MBA; * Languages: Advanced English; Advanced Spanish; * Minimum professional experience in the field: 5 years **Additional Information** We are Telefónica Tech, the Telefónica Group’s global provider of Cloud, IoT, and Big Data services—now leading not only in telecommunications but also in the technology market.
