Tech Lead QA

Description

Job Summary: Lead and develop the QA team, define and evolve the testing strategy, ensure best practices, and promote continuous quality improvement in agile environments. Key Highlights: 1. Technical leadership of QA teams and development of testing strategies. 2. Experience with test automation and frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing. 3. Collaboration with development, product, and DevOps teams to ensure quality. Technical Leadership Technically lead the QA team (test analysts and test engineers). Define and evolve the company/project’s testing strategy. Ensure best practices for manual and automated testing. Support the team in resolving complex technical issues. Test Automation Define test automation architecture. Implement and maintain automation frameworks. Expand automated test coverage (UI, API, and integration). Quality and Processes Create and monitor quality metrics and test indicators. **Implement strategies such as:** Test Pyramid Shift\-left testing Quality gates in CI/CD Ensure adherence to agile processes. Team Integration Work closely with Development, Product, and DevOps teams. **Participate in:** Refinement sessions Planning sessions Sprint reviews Ensure requirements include testable acceptance criteria. Continuous Improvement Identify quality bottlenecks. Promote a shared quality culture. Evolve testing practices throughout the development lifecycle. **Requirements:** \+7 years in Quality Assurance / Test Engineering Previous experience leading QA teams Experience with agile teams (Scrum / Kanban) Test Automation **Experience with tools such as:** UI Testing Selenium Cypress Playwright API Testing Postman RestAssured Karate Performance Testing JMeter k6 Gatling Programming Languages (at least one preferred) Java JavaScript / TypeScript Python C\# CI/CD **Experience with pipelines such as:** Jenkins GitHub Actions GitLab CI Azure DevOps Cloud (preferred) AWS Azure GCP **Behavioral Competencies:** Technical leadership Analytical thinking Clear communication with technical and business stakeholders Continuous improvement mindset Mentoring and team development capability
