Strategic role with hands-on involvement **Job Description**: We seek a candidate with robust experience to lead technical decisions and drive the evolution of our software architecture. You will serve as a reference for engineering best practices, guide teams in adopting microservices and cloud platforms (AWS/OCI), and accelerate automations using AI “flow” tools (e.g., n8n, Windmill). This is a strategic, hands-on role. **How We Work** * Evolutionary, metrics-driven architecture (SLOs/SLIs). * CI/CD pipeline with quality gates, tests (unit/integration/contract), and end-to-end observability. * Cross-team collaboration, architecture chapters, and agile rhythms. **Key Responsibilities** * Define and evolve the reference architecture (target architecture), standards, and “guard rails”. * Design solutions using microservices (synchronous/asynchronous), APIs, and events—ensuring scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency. * Lead technical decisions, promote governance and quality (observability, testing, security, LGPD). Support squads across the full cycle: technical discovery, PoCs, design, implementation, and review. * Implement automations and integrations using n8n/Windmill and other orchestrators/agents. * Mentor engineers, foster an engineering culture, encourage pair design/code, and drive continuous improvement. **Mandatory Requirements** * Solid experience designing modern software architectures. * Proficiency with **AWS** services (e.g., EC2/ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway/ALB, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch/CloudTrail/IAM). * Familiarity with **OCI** services (e.g., OKE, Functions, Object Storage, Database, Networking, IAM, Observability). * Experience with **Node.js** in production, API patterns (REST/GraphQL), and messaging/events. * **Microservices** architecture (domain-driven design, event-driven, resiliency patterns). * Practical experience with at least **one language** beyond JS/TS (or deep proficiency in JS/TS). * **AI/automation flow tools**: n8n, Windmill (or similar). * Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation) and **CI/CD**. * **Soft skills**: clear communication, facilitation, technical negotiation, servant leadership. * **Spanish**: **intermediate** level (mandatory) for stakeholder interaction. **Nice-to-Have (Differentiators)** * Hands-on experience with Node.js for prototyping, “reference implementations”, and code reviews. * **English**: intermediate/advanced. * Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes: EKS/OKE). * Observability (OpenTelemetry), feature flags, canary/blue-green deployments, chaos testing. * Security-by-design (IAM, KMS, secrets, threat modeling) and compliance (LGPD). * Experience with cloud cost management (FinOps) and high-scale performance optimization. **Additional Information** Contract type: PJ **Location****Contract Type****Work Model** São Paulo, SP, BR Freelance PJ Hybrid
