Serve as the regional expert in data quality and governance. **Join us as a Data Engineer – CX Hub LATAM** **PURPOSE OF THE ROLE** This role exists to drive data excellence within the CX Hub LATAM, ensuring data quality, governance, and scalability for strategic decision-making, analytics, and tools in Food Solutions. You will serve as a key contributor in building a reliable and harmonized data foundation across markets, enabling consistent insight generation and ensuring analytics and machine learning initiatives are sustainable and scalable. Because here, we don’t just hire for roles — we invite you to be part of something bigger. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Implement and manage data quality processes, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and consistency through automated validations and continuous monitoring * Define and apply data governance standards aligned with global guidelines, including metadata, ownership, and data stewardship * Maintain and evolve data documentation, including definitions, data lineage, and usage policies * Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory and Databricks * Ensure continuous ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data for analytics, reporting, and machine learning * Standardize and harmonize data structures and definitions across LATAM markets * Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to ensure data flows meet quality and governance standards * Monitor and support resolution of data issues in partnership with local teams * Serve as the regional expert in data quality and governance * Implement and monitor FinOps practices in Databricks, ensuring cost efficiency and control **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data, or related fields * Solid experience in data engineering, including end-to-end pipeline development and maintenance * Proficiency in Python (especially PySpark) and SQL * Experience with Databricks and Data Lake architectures (raw, bronze, silver, and gold layers) * Hands-on experience with Data Quality and data governance practices * Intermediate English and Spanish **PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS** * Experience with FinOps applied to Databricks * Knowledge of automation tools such as Power Automate * Experience in regional or multi-country environments, preferably in consumer goods or B2B companies **At Unilever, inclusion is at the heart of everything we do.** We welcome applications from all backgrounds and are committed to creating an environment where everyone can thrive/succeed.
