This professional is responsible for monitoring current legislation, properly applying tax regulations, and conducting detailed analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities without compromising legality. As an essential element within the financial structure, the Tax/Fiscal Analyst works to ensure that all tax declarations and payments are accurate, timely, and optimized, thereby contributing to the company’s financial health and sustainability. * Calculate direct and indirect taxes, as well as related ancillary obligations, in accordance with current tax legislation. * Prepare and submit ancillary obligations, such as tax returns, SPED (Public Digital Bookkeeping System), and other tax requirements. * Verify compliance and accuracy of tax documents, ensuring consistency and correctness of information. * Generate and manage tax payment slips, ensuring they are paid within established deadlines. * Monitor and analyze changes in tax legislation, ensuring the company remains continuously compliant. * Identify legal opportunities to optimize the company’s tax burden, seeking efficient and ethical ways to reduce tax costs. * Support audits and inspections by preparing required documentation and responding to inquiries from regulatory authorities. * Provide support and guidance to internal departments on tax and fiscal matters. * Deliver internal training on relevant tax topics, keeping the team updated and aware of fiscal obligations. * Perform tax bookkeeping. * Propose and implement improvements to the accounting\-tax system.
