Development of new R&D activity lines **Description and Responsibilities:** **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM **Level:** Not Specified **Employment Type:** Permanent – CLT Execution of applied research projects on internal combustion engines under direct supervision. **WHAT YOU WILL DO** * Contribute to prospecting new applied research projects by understanding client requirements and needs, and occasionally assisting in the preparation of commercial proposals. * Collect data, information, samples, and materials necessary for conducting the research. * Conduct research according to scientific methodology in the form of applied research and experimentation of products, processes, and manufacturing prototypes. * Participate in defining parameters and practices for evaluating and analyzing research results in which you are involved. * Monitor project execution in partnerships with entities, universities, research and development centers, funding agencies, companies, and industries to develop new activity lines. * Write proposals to secure external funding and provide accountability reports, following established guidelines. * Present research results and assist in reporting on the use of funds, adhering to established regulations. * Facilitate coordination among technical teams for execution, monitoring, evaluation, and improvement of R&D processes. * Support technical area activities by updating technical and administrative standards, institutional materials, procedural manuals, and processes within your area of expertise. **Applications accepted until May 05, 2026** **Requirements:** **WHAT WE CONSIDER IMPORTANT FOR THIS OPPORTUNITY** **Essential Requirements:** Bachelor’s degree completed in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Energy, or related fields. A Master’s degree will be considered an advantage. **WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU ON A DAILY BASIS** * Practical knowledge of engine and vehicle simulation and modeling environments (e.g., AVL Boost/Cruise, GT Suite, MATLAB) * Practical knowledge of CAE and CFD software (e.g., ANSYS, AVL Fire/Excite, Abaqus) * Familiarity with engine test bench, dynamometer, and data acquisition and instrumentation systems. * Ability to critically analyze experimental and simulation data. * Skill in preparing detailed technical reports and delivering clear presentations of results. * Proactivity and willingness to perform and support complex technical activities under supervision. * Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, communicating effectively with researchers, technicians, and partners.
