Job Summary: Provide nursing care to clinical and surgical patients under supervision, with emphasis on quality and safety, and contribute to the therapeutic plan. Key Highlights: 1. Assisting in training new staff and developing performance indicators Provide nursing care to patients across various units of the Institution—both clinical and surgical—under the supervision of the Unit Nurse, Continuing Education Supervisor, and Nursing Supervisor, emphasizing quality and safety of care, as well as contributing to the implementation of the patient’s therapeutic plan. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Provide daily nursing care to patients across institutional units under the supervision of the area-responsible nurse, covering both clinical and administrative aspects; * Perform daily nursing procedures including anamnesis, physical examination, diagnosis, prescription, and nursing evolution—SAE; * Ensure daily individualized and effective nursing care to unit patients; * Collaborate with the unit’s senior nurse and medical team whenever appropriate, especially for complex or critically ill patients—e.g., setting up monitors, preparing vasoactive drugs, monitoring vital parameters, urinary output, fluid and electrolyte balance, and other relevant metrics; * Support the unit’s senior nurse in conducting specific medical procedures—e.g., intubation, catheter and drain insertion—by providing necessary materials, equipment, and physician preparation to ensure proper execution; * Assist in training newly hired staff under the supervision of Continuing Education, conveying policies, routines, procedures, and facility orientation; * Participate in annual scheduled activities—including theoretical classes, interactive sessions, realistic simulations, seminars, and capstone projects; * Support development of quality, cost, and productivity indicators for the assigned department on a monthly basis; * Attend periodic meetings with Nursing Supervision, Coordination, and Division to support decision-making and information sharing, ensuring high-quality nursing care and continuous learning; * Perform additional duties as required or directed by management. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Nursing; * Postgraduate education preferred; * Active COREN registration; * Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office Suite. **SPDM** — Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina (São Paulo Association for Medical Development) is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility, respectively by Decrees No. 57.925 of 03/04/1966, No. 40.103 of 05/17/1962, and No. 8.911 of 07/30/1970. This is a low-complexity emergency care facility owned by the Municipal Government of São Paulo, designed for unscheduled demand, featuring 54 observation beds across General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Orthopedics and Traumatology, and Pediatrics—managed by **SPDM** – Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina (São Paulo Association for Medical Development), through a solid partnership with the Municipal Government, fully aligned with the guiding principles of Brazil’s Unified Health System (SUS), ensuring comprehensive, high-quality hospital care
