We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to evolve systems and services supporting critical credit journeys—with high impact on business and customer experience. Here, you will work in a dynamic, collaborative, and product-oriented context, with end-to-end responsibility (build & run), continuously improving architecture, security, and quality. What You’ll Do • Design, develop, and evolve backend services and APIs, focusing on scalability, performance, security, and reliability. • Participate in architecture definition (microservices, integrations, APIs, and messaging/events where applicable). • Ensure quality through standards, code reviews, and testing (unit, integration, and functional). • Contribute to DevOps practices (CI/CD pipelines, automation, production deployment) and improvements in observability/SRE. • Participate in system modernization and migration initiatives, supporting the technological evolution of the product-as-a-platform. • Use AI as a core part of daily work—applying AI to accelerate engineering, reinforce quality (e.g., test generation/validation), support troubleshooting, and automate tasks. Requirements • Solid backend development experience with Java/Kotlin, REST API construction, and service architecture using Maven/Gradle. • Proficiency in JPA/Hibernate. • Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2/EKS, S3, SQS/SNS, IAM, Secrets Manager, KMS, Parameter Store) and Cloud-First culture. • Experience with relational and non-relational databases, and engineering practices focused on performance and reliability. • Knowledge of CI/CD, version control best practices, and monitoring/logging. • Observability expertise: Datadog APM, Logs, RUM, custom dashboards, distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry. • Testing experience: JUnit 5, Testcontainers, Mockito, Pact (contract tests with BFFs), WireMock. • Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, SNS/SQS), idempotency, dead letter queues, and event ordering. • Experience with GitHub. • Knowledge of Hexagonal Architecture / Clean Architecture applied to Spring microservices. • Experience applying Artificial Intelligence to software development (using AI tools and/or integrating AI capabilities securely and traceably). Nice-to-Haves • AWS certifications (including AI badges/tracks). • Experience with event-driven/messaging-based architecture and legacy modernization.
