Implement improvement projects for cost reduction and efficiency Requisition ID: 23559 Job Category: Logistics/Demand \& Supply Chain Career level: Specialist Contract type: Permanent Location: Cajamar, BR **International Trade Specialist** ------------------------------------- ### **Job Mission** The International Trade Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing import and export operations focused on the automotive supply chain, ensuring regulatory compliance, logistical efficiency, and strategic support. They will serve as the focal point for internal departments with direct interfaces to international trade, ensuring agile processes aligned with global requirements. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Execute import processes for components, raw materials, finished goods, and equipment for automotive production. * Conduct exports of finished goods, ensuring compliance with technical and commercial regulations of destination countries. * Monitor international trade agreements (Mercosur, EU, NAFTA). * Manage internal processes related to specific customs regimes (Ex-Tariff, Drawback, Recof). * Track and interpret regulatory changes impacting the automotive sector. * Implement improvement projects aimed at reducing costs and enhancing efficiency of the international logistics chain. ### **Technical Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Relations, Engineering, or related fields. * In-depth knowledge of customs legislation, foreign exchange, product tax classification, and special regimes. * Proficiency in ERP systems and government platforms (Siscomex, Radar). * Fluent English (Spanish is a plus). ### **Behavioral Competencies** * Analytical ability and attention to technical details. * International negotiation skills. * Results orientation. * Clear and assertive communication. * Agility in problem resolution. * Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
