Belonging to Afinz means having space to experience ways that unite ideas, people, and dreams. **ComeToAfinz—here, our affinity goes from A to Z.** **Responsibilities and duties** * Lead the development and monitoring of statistical and econometric models; * Manage team of data analysts and scientists, setting goals and performance indicators; * Translate business demands into quantitative solutions and support decisions with predictive models; * Manage modeling project portfolios, prioritizing deliverables and deadlines; * Ensure model lifecycle, documentation, and regulatory compliance; * Act as liaison between Risk, Credit, Products, Technology, and Legal teams; * Propose innovations through new methodologies, including AI; * Foster a culture of data, innovation, and analytical efficiency; * Support audits, compliance, and regulatory inspections. **Requirements and qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Economics, or related fields (Postgraduate/MBA in quantitative areas, finance, or management is a plus); * Solid experience in statistical and econometric modeling (PD, LGD, EAD, scorecards, pricing, regulatory capital); * Proficiency in tools such as Python, SQL, and visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau); * Knowledge of banking operations and regulatory standards (Bacen, CMN, IRB, IFRS 9, Basel); * Experience leading teams, managing complex projects, and interacting with partner departments; * Experience in model validation and governance, including backtesting, stress testing, and model risk management; * Experience managing large datasets, integrating with data engineering, and using cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP). **Additional information** **Benefits** **Offering the best work experience is one of our main goals.
