**What we are looking for:** We are seeking a professional with solid experience in Java and GCP to join our financial services team. **Responsibilities:** Develop, evolve, and maintain backend applications Build and maintain services and APIs using Java and Python Develop and maintain data pipelines with Dataflow Implement event-driven solutions with Kafka Design and optimize database structures and queries in MySQL and Spanner Work within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment Participate in technical decision-making (architecture, scalability, and performance) Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Architecture, QA, Product, Operations) Support incident resolution and continuous improvement Ensure development best practices (version control, code review, and documentation) **Requirements:** Solid backend development experience Experience with Java and Python Experience with GCP Experience with Dataflow Experience with Kafka (messaging/streaming) Knowledge of MySQL and Spanner Experience with APIs and microservices Agile methodology experience **Desirable / Differentiating Qualifications:** Experience in the financial sector / Core Banking Experience with distributed architectures and high-volume systems Knowledge of observability and monitoring Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices **Behavioral Profile:** We are looking for someone who: * Enjoys working in teams and is **collaborative** in their responsibilities; * Has the **courage** to challenge themselves and go beyond, embracing new growth opportunities; * Transforms ideas into **creative solutions** and pursues quality in all daily activities; * Possesses strong **problem-solving skills**; * Is capable and comfortable working independently and **managing their own time**; * Is interested in tackling technologically **adverse and innovative** situations.
