Job Summary: A plastic packaging manufacturer is seeking a Product Engineer / Project Leader to oversee and manage all phases of new product development, ensuring timeliness, scope adherence, and compliance. Monitoring of try-outs and production validation **Plastic packaging manufacturer seeks:** Product Engineer / Project Leader **REQUIREMENTS:** Bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technologist in Production (preferred) Plastics Technician (preferred) Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, APQP, FMEA, Microsoft Project, and Excel (preferred) Experience in managing all aspects of project execution across all phases of new product development **PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:** Overseeing projects across all phases of new product development; Preparing all product-related documentation using APQP tools (control plans, FMEAs, validation reports, etc.); Participating in product and process FMEA meetings; Performing project measurements; Conducting technical meetings; Ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and in accordance with established standards; Defining specifications, drawings, execution methods, and required resources; Analyzing data and information to align with project direction; Creating and managing project documentation and reports; Identifying goals and requirements for each project; Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of applicable legislation for each project. **Detailed Responsibilities:** Monitoring and evaluating try\-outs / pilot batches; Managing technical drawings; Analyzing SPC (Statistical Process Control) data; Validating first production run of the product; Creating internal item codes (product structure). **Work Location:** São Bernardo do Campo (onsite position) **Salary:** Negotiable \+ Benefits **Minimum Education Level:** Bachelor’s Degree
