We are empathetic, collaborative, share information openly, and do not shy away from difficult conversations so that Scala achieves its goals. **We thirst for the future!** **If you want to grow in a dynamic, innovative, and sustainability-driven environment, join Scala and be part of the future of digital infrastructure!** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Key Responsibilities:** * Act as the **financial business partner** to construction managers across LATAM countries (Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico), ensuring alignment among planning, execution, and financial control of projects (long-term projects exist in the pipeline, concluding by 2028); * Conduct detailed monthly variance analyses between actuals, budget, and forecasts, supporting strategic decisions and course corrections; * Prepare (jointly with construction managers) monthly CAPEX forecasts, ensuring data consistency and accuracy; * Support financial feasibility analysis of new scopes and projects, including comparative studies and alternative scenarios (e.g., labor outsourcing); * Financially validate purchase orders (POs), ensuring compliance with contracted scope and approved budget; * Develop and present monthly financial performance reports to the Construction and Finance Executive Teams, focusing on insights and recommendations. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Essential Prerequisites** * Solid experience in construction cost control, preferably in large-scale or infrastructure projects; * Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or related fields; **Preferred Qualifications** * Postgraduate degree or MBA in related areas is a plus; * Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial planning and control, preferably within construction or infrastructure sectors; * Advanced Spanish (verbal and written)—used frequently in interactions with local stakeholders; * Prior experience in international projects or multicultural environments; * SAP knowledge (modules related to project and cost control); * Power BI (PBI) knowledge. **Additional Information** * This position is also open to people with disabilities (PwD). **Our Benefits:** Attractive PLR (Profit Sharing); Dental Plan; Health Insurance; Meal and Food Allowance via Flash Card totaling R$1,250.00 per month; Private Pension Plan (for eligible positions); Employee Loans; Life Insurance; Wellhub (formerly Gympass); Birthday Day Off—one day off during your birth month; Professional Development: Scala Academy, Language Program, LinkedIn Learning.
