Ensures part conformity and safety (NR-12) The CNC Setup Technician at DULONG performs setup and operation of CNC and conventional machines (lathe/milling), being responsible for fixture assembly, offset calibration, interpretation of technical drawings, and adjustment of cutting parameters to ensure dimensional accuracy of parts. Conducts inspections, tool changes, and corrective interventions in the process. Also responsible for preparing setup records and strictly complying with safety regulations (NR\-12\), essential for reproducibility and industrial integrity. * Prepare, operate, and adjust CNC machines (lathe and/or machining center) for production start-up. * Perform complete setup: part fixturing, tool assembly, machine zeroing, and parameter adjustments. * Interpret technical drawings, production orders, and process sheets. * Select appropriate cutting tools according to material and operation. * Adjust CNC programs when necessary (simple parameter corrections, offsets, etc.). * Monitor production start-up (try\-out), ensuring conformity of first parts. * Perform measurements using instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, among others. * Release the machine to the operator after part validation. * Monitor process performance and make adjustments to improve productivity and quality. * Identify and correct process deviations (dimensional, surface finish, tooling). * Request maintenance when required and support technical diagnostics. * Ensure workplace organization in accordance with 5S practices. * Comply with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
