Job Summary: Responsible for the technological platform for settlement and custody of international financial products, working on development and optimization of Java-based systems in the cloud. Opportunity to learn about derivatives, fixed-income, and variable-income products **About the Team:** The team is responsible for the technological platform that supports and enables settlement and custody of international/offshore products. We work on developing and incorporating new financial products, as well as enhancing and evolving a vendor-provided system built entirely in Java and hosted fully in the cloud. We are also responsible for internally developed Java-based solutions that form part of the platform’s ecosystem, also fully cloud-hosted. Our group interacts directly with Back Office users to understand new business demands and how to add value to the bank’s core business. We also interface with Middle Office, client channels, and various internal departments to enable the offshore settlement and custody pipeline. **Your Day-to-Day:** * Technical Java and cloud leadership in offshore custody systems projects; * Interaction with multiple business areas and other technology teams; * Propose and actively participate in discussions on solutions, considering processes, vendors, internal development, and software architecture best practices; * Promote continuous improvement and evolution with the team; * Assist in optimizing cloud resources and costs; * Review source code produced by the team and serve as the technical focal point; * Manage projects and interact with global partners; * Practice and promote agile software development methodologies; * Collaborate with the IT team to understand internal customer needs, analyze requirements, estimate effort in hours, define delivery scope, and develop or configure existing systems.
