Department Operations LevelExperienced (Individual Contributor) LocationSão Paulo The Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end\-to\-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud. **About the Team:** Responsible for performing environmental support activities at the SOC and regional Hubs, including waste management, sustainability projects, and compliance with legal requirements.**Job Description:*** Daily on-site operational monitoring at SOCs; * Remote and on-site operational monitoring at management Hubs; * Release of waste shipments; * Monitoring and scheduling of pest control inspections at operational units; * Monitoring of internal, external, and regulatory audits; * Operational training focused on environmental topics; * Participation in HSE campaigns; * Environmental onboarding implementation; * Management of fixed QLPs subcontracted to fulfill the waste management contract; * Document management and issuance: transport documents, licensing conditions, and environmental permits/authorizations; * Development and maintenance of procedures; * Issuance of environmental documents to meet legal requirements; * Management of consumption KPIs; * Execution of environmental processes and projects interfacing with multiple departments as per the established strategic plan; * Change management and implementation of new units during expansion / relocations; * Management of subcontracted companies for waste management, pest control, drinking water quality, and legal compliance; * Legal regulation management to meet legal requirements; * Response to and containment of environmental incidents; * Certification of waste disposal and transportation suppliers **Requirements:** Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Engineering, or related fields; Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Sheets; Strong knowledge of environmental legislation; Knowledge of waste management; Solid waste management experience; Valid Brazilian driver’s license (Category B) Benefits Medical and dental insurance, extended to dependents, and group life insurance; Partnership with Gympass and TotalPass; Flexible meal/food allowance; Transportation allowance, mobility allowance, or on-site parking; Flexible benefits program; Zenklub and Conexa; Pet care assistance; Exclusive benefits for employees with children; Discretionary annual bonus linked to performance.
