




Job Summary: A medical professional responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring medical activities across various specialties, ensuring quality and integration of multidisciplinary teams. Promote teaching and research within the unit * Plan and coordinate activities conducted across various medical specialties, monitoring and guiding teams on procedures to be performed; * Administer treatments for various pathologies, applying scientifically accepted and recognized medical methods; * Issue various medical certificates, reports, and expert opinions to comply with legal requirements; * Implement public health initiatives and participate in health surveillance processes to ensure service quality. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Coordinate and plan medical activities of the Department; * Propose and monitor adherence to general medical practice guidelines and other policies related to medical practice within the Department’s scope of specialty; * Provide technical and scientific support to physicians and other professionals utilizing hospital units, enabling optimal practice of their specialties, promoting integration among multidisciplinary teams, and acting as a mediator in interpersonal relationships; * Systematically, periodically, and proactively measure, review, and monitor medical care delivered by professionals associated with the Department; * Manage resources and support activities within the unit under responsibility, ensuring service quality, effectiveness, and performance improvement; * Propose criteria for personnel selection and hiring to operate within the area; * Promote teaching and research within the unit, aligning the Department with institutional guidelines and ensuring service delivery quality; * Participate in protocol development as a member of multidisciplinary teams and in unit budget preparation and control; * Monitor use of protocols applied within coordinated specialties, in accordance with each protocol’s clinical indicators; * Collaborate with leaders from other areas in evaluating, selecting, and integrating technology into health care and information systems management; * Oversee implementation of the Quality Program within the unit; * Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and participate in Medical Council meetings; * Analyze performance indicators and propose and implement process improvements; * Comply with, and ensure others comply with, ethical principles and institutional regulations governing medical practice. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Medicine; * Postgraduate qualification in health-related fields preferred; * Basic computer literacy and elementary English proficiency for reading, writing, and conversation; * Prior experience in the field is an advantage. **Additional Information** WORK SCHEDULE: MONDAY TO FRIDAY — 8 AM TO 5 PM **SPDM** — Paulista Association for the Development of Medicine — is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association, federally, state, and municipally recognized as being of public utility, respectively by Decrees No. 57,925 dated 03/04/1966, No. 40,103 dated 05/17/1962, and No. 8,911 dated 07/30/1970.
