We value technical insight, collective responsibility, and commitment to continuous improvement.** **Here, professional growth walks hand-in-hand with human growth, because we know engineering’s true strength lies in people.** **More than moving trains, we move cities, connect stories, and help build the future of urban mobility.** **If you meet the requirements for this opportunity, apply now and don’t forget to share it with your network.** **Our job openings are also inclusive.** **\#Engetrens \#GrupoComporte \#Opportunities** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Mission:** * Ensure environmental compliance for railway construction projects by preventing, controlling, and mitigating impacts—guaranteeing adherence to legislation, environmental permits, and corporate guidelines, while promoting sustainable practices that protect the environment, community safety, and the company’s reputation. **Main Responsibilities:** * Daily supervision of work fronts to verify compliance with environmental permit conditions and other applicable authorizations. * Conduct field environmental inspections, documenting photographic evidence, non-conformities, and opportunities for improvement. * Monitor execution of activities with potential environmental impact (e.g., earthworks, vegetation removal, concrete pouring, excavations, soil movement, temporary storage of materials, equipment refueling, etc.). * Supervise, at the construction site, segregation, identification, packaging, temporary storage, and final disposal of construction and demolition waste (Classes A, B, C, D), including hazardous waste, per current legislation and the Construction Waste Management Plan (PGRCC). * Verify Waste Transport Manifests (MTRs) and official system records—such as SIGOR and SP Regula (where applicable)—to ensure subcontractor traceability. * Monitor operation and maintenance of on-site environmental control systems, including oil-water separators, containment basins, stormwater drainage systems, and sediment control structures. * Inspect storage conditions for chemicals, fuels, and potentially polluting materials. * Monitor and supervise, on-site, the Basic Environmental Program (PBA), Erosion and Sedimentation Control Plan (PCPES), Construction Waste Management Plan (PGRCC), Indoor Air Quality Control Plan (PCQAI), and Contamination Prevention and Control Plan (PCPC). * Support internal audits, environmental agency inspections, and client visits by providing documentation and field evidence. * Produce periodic compliance reports and environmental performance indicators. * Input data into corporate and governmental systems (e.g., WeHandle, Checklist, Meu Resíduo, Linkana, SINIR, SIGOR, among others). * Support supplier evaluation and approval processes. * Guide contractors and field teams on best environmental practices. * Conduct training sessions, Daily Safety Dialogues (DDS), and environmental awareness campaigns. * Support the SMS team during environmental emergencies and contingency planning. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Mandatory:** * Completed Technical Course in Environmental Technology. **Desirable:** * Environmental Management, Biology, or related fields. **Additional Information** **Benefits:** **Medical Assistance (SulAmérica)** – Take care of your health with one of the market’s top-tier plans, ensuring quality and security for you. **Meal Allowance** – R$ 1,154.00 monthly for your meals. **Transportation Allowance** – Simplified mobility for your daily commute. **Profit Sharing (PLR)** – We recognize your performance with variable compensation aligned with company results. **Wellhub Partnership** – Access gyms, studios, and wellness apps to support your physical and mental health.
