Vice Presidency **IT** Director **Infrastructure and Cloud** We are seeking a **Senior FinOps Analyst** to work within the FinOps practice, responsible for financial governance and efficiency of cloud environments, ensuring budget predictability, continuous optimization, and support for investment decisions—aiming to guarantee the highest level of IT service capacity and performance. This role will be fundamental in guiding strategies and ensuring technical decisions align with business evolution. **Responsibilities and Duties** **Planning and Strategy** * Define FinOps strategies aligned with business objectives. * Manage financial aspects of cloud environments, including consumption tracking, actual vs. forecast analysis, and cost control. * Identify, analyze, and address financial deviations and consumption variances, ensuring rapid response in coordination with responsible teams. * Analyze resource consumption to balance technical and financial efficiency. * Execute and support FinOps governance processes, including incident workflows, RITMs, campaigns, and consumption exceptions. * Identify cost and efficiency optimization opportunities, proposing rightsizing and resource rationalization actions. * Build and analyze consumption reports and dashboards (showback/chargeback), ensuring executive visibility and decision-making support. * Engage with technical teams and business units to understand consumption patterns, variances, and action direction. * Support cloud contract management and investment decisions, providing financial insight and technical guidance. * Ensure adherence to financial governance practices, including tagging control and cost organization. * Monitor and analyze consumption anomalies, identifying root causes and directing corrective actions. * Utilize management and optimization tools (e.g., Cloudability, Turbonomic, or similar) for analysis, monitoring, and insight generation. * Analyze consumption based on understanding of cloud infrastructure architecture and resource usage (compute, storage, networking, managed services), correlating technical behavior with financial impact. * Participate in evolving FinOps and governance processes, contributing to standardization and continuous improvement. * Conduct predictive analyses and plan infrastructure resource usage. * Assess impacts of new implementations, projects, and architectural changes. * Contribute to technical governance and evolution of environments. * Support cloud transformation and AI adoption for the discipline. **Monitoring and Optimization** * Supervise continuous monitoring of cost and workload indicators across products. * Identify bottlenecks, propose solutions, and lead optimization initiatives. * Validate technical recommendations and ensure delivery excellence. **Relationships and Interfaces** * Serve as the liaison between development, infrastructure, and business teams. * Facilitate technical discussions and data-driven decision-making. * Prepare and present managerial and executive FinOps reports. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Academic Background** * Bachelor’s degree in technology-related fields (IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related disciplines) preferred. * Postgraduate studies are a plus. **Professional Experience** * Prior experience in cloud environments (Azure, GCP, Oracle, and AWS). * Cloud certifications (Azure, GCP, OCI) and knowledge/experience in cloud solutions and architecture are desirable. * Extensive FinOps experience, and expertise in capacity and performance of multicloud architectures. * Practical experience with Microservices Architecture and cloud environments (public and private). * IT architecture experience — mapping corporate architecture and business processes. * Knowledge of cloud system architecture (AKS, AI components, Databricks, Mongo, and other Azure products). * Hands-on experience in consumption analysis, efficiency assessment, and financial tracking of infrastructure. * Experience with SRE and Observability (Dynatrace/App Dynamics, Zabbix, ELK, Splunk, Grafana, Prometheus, and related tools) is a plus. * Experience and knowledge in (Preferred): * Container, microservices, and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Redis, etc.). * Operating systems: Linux, Solaris, AIX, and Windows Server. * Performance tuning of databases and/or middleware. * BigData infrastructure architecture (Hadoop). * API Gateway. * Integration (SOA, WebLogic). * Oracle Databases. * MySQL / NoSQL databases (ELK Stack / Cassandra / MariaDB / MongoDB). * Oracle GoldenGate / OGG for KAFKA. * Microservices (Kubernetes / Istio / NGINX / Redis). * BIGDATA / Hadoop / Apache Kafka / NiFi. * Storage architecture experience (Huawei / EMC). * English; * Clear and assertive communication; * Negotiation skills; * Teamwork orientation; * Empathy; * Ownership; * Proactivity; * Facilitation within the organizational structure; **Additional Information** Here’s what we offer you: At Vivo, we spare no effort in supporting and valuing our employees—not only excellent benefits but also flexible ones. • Choose the ideal benefit for you and your dependents via a digital platform offering multiple categories: Gym, VR, VA, Pharmacy Assistance, Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance; • Corporate mobile phone.
