Technical Skills with Meats; The kitchen assistant must demonstrate proficiency in handling various types of meat, understanding their cuts, ideal doneness levels, and appropriate preparation methods; Receiving, Storing, and Portioning Supplies; It is essential that the kitchen assistant knows how to receive, store, and portion supplies in an organized and efficient manner. This includes: Correctly identifying product types and their respective expiration dates; Storing supplies in appropriate locations according to food safety standards; Properly labeling all items to ensure traceability and inventory control. Specific Skills High-demand environment: Maintaining productivity and quality standards even during peak hours and high-pressure situations is essential. Cold storage organization: The assistant is responsible for keeping the cold storage area organized, clean, and safe, facilitating access and preserving supplies.
