




**DESCRIPTION** Assists with routine tasks in the assembly or refurbishment of presses and their mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and other accessories, according to instructions from the Supervisor and/or guidance from the Assembler, to expedite workflow. Maintains a clean workplace at all times. * Reviews drawings, parts, commercial materials, component lists, and production orders for machine assembly; * Assists in the assembly or refurbishment of presses and press components, ensuring necessary materials are supplied; * Performs deburring and drilling operations per drawings; * Assists in identifying finished parts, prepares the workplace according to operator and/or Supervisor requirements and instructions, and requests maintenance when needed; * Assists the Assembler; * Supports measurement activities during assembly and testing to prevent clearance issues and other irregularities; * Assists in testing systems and components. **Requirements:** Completed high school education. Relevant work experience. Vocational training in General Mechanics and/or Metrology (an advantage). Knowledge of: General Mechanical Assembly, Pneumatics, Basic Hydraulics Concepts, Metrology, and Technical Drawing (an advantage).
