Job Summary: We are seeking an extremely hands-on Senior Data Manager to lead the evolution of our data function, working on architecture, organization, and building a CDP. Key Highlights: 1. Build the foundation for an in-house Customer Data Platform (CDP) We are looking for a **Senior Data Manager** to lead the evolution of our data function at V4 Company. This person will be responsible for designing, organizing, and operating our entire data infrastructure, ensuring: * correct data flow, * organization of our data lake, * and the future development of an in-house CDP (Customer Data Platform) — enabling operations for \+10,000 active customers. Despite the managerial title, we seek someone highly hands\-on: with practical experience in data engineering, modeling, governance, and — as a strong differentiator — applied expertise in artificial intelligence (e.g., deploying models in production, feature engineering, data preparation, etc.). Are motivated by growth, not comfort zones. **Responsibilities and Duties** * **Lead V4’s data architecture and structure** * Define and evolve the data architecture (data lake, layers, standards, integrations). * Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability across system data flows. * **Serve as a hands\-on technical reference in data** * Directly participate in data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and organization. * Support the team in technical decisions, best practices, and troubleshooting. * **Build the foundation for our CDP** * Plan and lead the development of an in-house Customer Data Platform. * Define the data model, events, identities, and source unification (online/offline, media, CRM, operations). * **Enable data-driven products and solutions** * Collaborate with Product & Technology teams to develop products born from data usage (recommendations, scoring, automations, advanced reporting, etc.). * Support defining metrics, KPIs, and analytical models for V4’s products. * **Apply artificial intelligence practically** * Bridge data and AI: prepare datasets, features, and pipelines for machine learning/LLM models. * Evaluate and implement AI solutions that enhance operations, products, and customer experience. * **Governance, security, and best practices** * Establish data governance processes (documentation, catalog, ownership, LGPD compliance). * Ensure data usage is secure, scalable, and sustainable. * **Act as a technical leader and business partner** * Work closely with Product, Engineering, Growth, and Operations teams. * Translate business needs into data solutions and bring data solutions back to the business. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Solid senior-level experience in data engineering / large-scale data handling. * Practical experience in: – Data architecture (data lake / data warehouse / data pipelines). – Data modeling, ETL/ELT, job orchestration. – Integration of multiple sources (CRM, media, marketing tools, internal systems, etc.). * Experience leading data initiatives (as a technical reference or manager), even with small teams. * Familiarity with modern cloud/data stack (AWS, Redshift, Airflow, dbt or equivalents). * Ability to work hands\-on (write code, build pipelines, review architecture). * Business-oriented profile: connects data to tangible outcomes (revenue, retention, margin, efficiency). **Differentiators** * Experience building a CDP or customer-centric data platforms. * Prior experience at digital marketing, performance, CRM, SaaS, or marketplace companies. * Practical experience with AI/ML, such as: – Recommendation, scoring, segmentation, and forecasting models. – Data preparation for LLMs, RAG, and intelligent automations. * Experience leading small teams (data engineering, analytics, etc.). **BENEFITS THAT EMPOWER YOUR JOURNEY AT V4** **Health and Dental Insurance** – We care about your physical and mental health so you can focus on what matters most: your growth. ️‍ ️ **TotalPass** – Access to gyms, studios, and fitness experiences across Brazil.
