**Job Description** Position requires on-site work at the Gravataí/RS plant. **Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechatronic equipment and systems, including fault diagnosis, component replacement, and adjustments. * Install and configure mechatronic equipment and systems in accordance with technical specifications and safety standards. * Program and configure programmable logic controllers (PLCs), supervisory systems, and other electronic devices for automation. * Participate in the development of mechatronic systems projects, always focused on continuous improvement of machines and processes. * Integrate mechanical and electronic systems into industrial processes to optimize performance and increase efficiency. * Design, program, and maintain robotic systems, including industrial robots and collaborative systems. * Manage projects, work in teams, prepare technical reports, and maintain a clean, organized, and safe workplace. * Train users on the operation and maintenance of mechatronic systems and stay updated on emerging technologies. **ATTENTION: Do not forget to attach your resume with an active email address.** **Required Qualifications:** * Technical degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, or Electromechanics; or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Technology degree in Automation and Control; * Basic English – Reading and Writing; * Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams; * Knowledge of communication networks (Ethernet and DeviceNet); * Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems; * Availability to work all three shifts under regular or rotating shift schedules; * On-site work at the Gravataí/RS plant. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of conveyors, air houses, and paint robots; * Knowledge of PLC and SCADA programming; * Knowledge of frequency inverters; * Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including electricity and electronics (PLC, HMI), controls and instrumentation, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic actuators; * General knowledge of preventive maintenance and principles of predictive maintenance; * Knowledge of process equipment operations, sequencing, error checking, and diagnostic features. \&\#xa;\&\#xa;\&\#xa;\&\#xa; **About GM** Our vision is a world with Zero Crashes, Zero Emissions and Zero Congestion and we embrace the responsibility to lead the change that will make our world better, safer and more equitable for all. **Why Join Us** We believe we all must make a choice every day – individually and collectively – to drive meaningful change through our words, our deeds and our culture.
