Job Summary: Work as a Cashier Operator at Assaí Atacadista, providing friendly customer service, registering products, collecting payments, and organizing the cash register. Key Highlights: 1. Cash register organization and closing **Shift Hours:** 2:10 PM to 10:30 PM — 6 days on, 1 day off **Rotating Sundays** 1x1 (Work one Sunday, off the next) This position is for a Cashier Operator at Assaí Atacadista Nova América. **Main Responsibilities** * Greet customers courteously, respectfully, and efficiently. * Accurately register products using the point-of-sale system. * Verify product codes, weights, and quantities when necessary. * Accept payments in cash, credit/debit cards, PIX, vouchers, and other methods provided by the company. * Issue fiscal receipts, proof of payment, and invoices where applicable. * Perform cash register opening, reconciliation, and closing according to internal procedures. * Keep the cash register organized, clean, and stocked with supporting materials. * Promote and inform customers about products, promotional campaigns, services, and programs offered by the company. * Assist with packing purchases when needed, enhancing the customer experience. * Clarify customer questions related to the payment process. * Request leadership support in cases of discrepancies, cancellations, returns, or cash register incidents. * Follow loss prevention procedures, identifying atypical situations and immediately reporting them to the responsible manager. * Maintain work equipment such as barcode scanners, computers, fiscal printers, and payment terminals. * Comply with occupational safety, health, and hygiene standards, as well as company internal policies. * Participate in training sessions, meetings, and development initiatives promoted by the company. * Support other store operational activities as requested by leadership, respecting the scope of this role. **BENEFITS** On-site meal Medical assistance — Hapvida Dental assistance Funeral assistance Meal card R$120.00 Career development plan Gyms (Gympass/Totalpass) University partnerships / Assaí University Transportation allowance Extended maternity leave Salary: R$2.270,00 — R$2.271,00 per month Benefits: * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Basic food basket * Free parking * Profit-sharing program * Life insurance * Transportation allowance Work location: On-site
